Go to the third floor to a place called Escape MKE, where you will be given your first mission. After your next mission, should you choose to accept it will be to get into the new Safehouse, 779 N Front St, Milwaukee, WI 53202. You will be escorted through the Safehouse to private quarters in The Press Room.  There, you will debrief your mission with open bar and food from 5-7 pm. (People working downtown that would like to come only to the after mission event should feel free to do so- just let me know your intent).  During the debriefing, we will enjoy a Q&A with a former undercover informant who will recount his harrowing activities over a four year period.  His identity is being concealed until the event to protect him.

This would be a child friendly event, but a special warning as Escape MKE is intense.

Hitting Your Target (Literally)
Friday, October 9 (Rain date October 16), 1 pm
5674 Holy Hill Rd., which is Hwy 167
How often do we miss the target?  Whether the quarterly projections, the annual pro forma, or in dealing with the son or daughter, we all miss once in a while.  That is a family business.  You try hard, but sometimes come up short.  At FBLI, we understand- we’ve been there.  But here you are, still standing, succeeding despite temporary setbacks.  Our October event will harken back to when you missed the target- literally!

For this amazing event, FBLI will fly you high above the sky (in pastures and places unknown) where you and your FBLI partner will spot, sight and release a bomb from a helicopter hovering high above.  The family with the closest bomb will win the competition.  Sound simple?  The target will be approximately four feet in diameter and the target will be attacked from about 400 feet.  Wind speeds at that altitude? 20 to 40 knots.  What is a knot?  You will find out that day!  We guarantee you have NEVER done anything like this!

Go-Kart Racing
Friday, June 19 from 2-5 p.m.
Stocky’s, 6389 Stockhausen Lane, West Bend
While the blind-folded go-kart racing ended in a crash- literally- the spirits were not dampened as the competitive juices flowed.  Rick Marino, still smacking his lips after the pizza tasting victory in April, took on rookie FBLI participant TJ Sommer in the championship round.  All this after numerous qualifying heats that saw Roger Boehlke take a header into the wall losing his glasses, along with innumerable spin-outs and flying car parts.  Sommer took the checkered flag, and with the next event being on his home turf at the Hunt Club, promised to close the distance the Marino Family has built in the early competition.  The event closed with dinner and a brief presentation on risk, money and family.
